Jan 2019 - The Moving Violations have just released their first album called  "First Offence".The cd was recorded primarily in the summer of 2016 at Studio 6 in Pickering and The Meat Locker in Toronto. Oct 1 /14 - The Lazy Poets will be appearing Friday October 3 at the Black Bear Pub on 765 Westney Rd S in Ajax ( Giant Tiger Plaza). Band hits the stage at 9:15.

Sept 28/ 14 - The Moving Violations will be appearing at the Mining for a Heart of Gold charity at 7pm at the Strathcona Hotel 60 York St in Toronto on Thursday November 6.

Sept 20 /14 - The Moving Violations will be appearing at the "Last Day of Summer Bash"  at Pina's located at 289 Terra Rd in Woodbridge . Band hits the stage at 3 pm.

Aug 12/14 The Lazy Poets will be appearing at the Black Bear Pub in Ajax Friday October 3. The band will hit the stage at 9pM

March 12/14 - The Mile Highs are back in the studio working Brett MacMillan at the Meat Locker on their next cd. New titles include " The Other Half of the Sky ", "Hot Mess", " She's Got Soul", and "Stanley's Comin Home " ( an optimistic song about the Leafs ! ).

March 1 /2014 - The Moving Violations will be appearing at the Upfront Pub at 105 Front St E in Toronto. The band will hit the stage at 10pm.


November 28 /2013 - THe song " Dangerous Times " has been selected by Hockey Night in Canada to be featured on a Saturday Night telecast. ( date to be announced) as part of the HNIC Songquest contest. You can vote for the song here :

Sept 2/13 - The Moving Violations will be playing a second gig in Cobourg on Saturday September 7th at the County Bistro located at 92 King St West starting at 9pm.


August  21/2012 - Jeff will be appearing along with the Moving Violations at Cobourg Coal Train Blues Festival in downtown Cobourg . The band will be playing on the side stage starting at 5pm on Saturday September 7th.




May 8/2013 -The Moving Violations will be appearing at Chico's Bar and Grill at 90 Turbine Rd in Toronto at 2 :30 pm. That same evening the Lazy Poets along with the Mile Highs will appear at the Cameron House at 408 Queen Street West  at 11pm for a set of original music. 

 

November 19/2012  The Moving Violations will be playing at Xenos Bar and Bistro at 250 Bayly Street west in Ajax for the bar's Grey Cup Party on Sunday November 25th . The band will hit the stage at 3pm. Local Ajax singer Cassidy Collin will do an opening set at 2pm.


July 8/2012  The Moving Violations will play Xenos Bar and Bistro at 250 Bayly St. West in Ajax on Sat July 21 at 9:15 pm.

June 22/2012  Jeff will be playing with the Moving Violations at the Black Bear Pub in Ajax 955 Westney Rd. South tonight at 9pm. 

March 2/12   The song "Dangerous Times" by Jeff Walker and Dan Cox from the Spiders and Silhouettes album has been chosen to be part of the soundtrack of the movie  "Fangs of War" which will start filming this summer. 

Feb 29/2012  Jeff is now playing guitar with the re formed Moving Violations . The band will be playing a St. Patrick's Day gig at Chico's Bar 90 Turbine Rd. Toronto at 2pm .

November 11/2011  A new song "Livin' on Easy Street " by the Mile Highs from the forthcoming album Studio Gunfight has been added to the site player (track #3). The new cd will be available in early 2012.

October 1 /2011  The Mile Highs are in the studio with legendary Canadian musician Greg Godovitz working on the song "It Ain't East Comin' Down". The song is a tribute to Frankie Venom late lead singer of the great Canadian band Teenage Head.   The song will be released on itunes in the new year.

July12/10 : The Mile Highs latest single " Sand of Time" is now being featured on jango.com and is available for a free download in the "Buy a cd or mp3" page of the site.

March 09  - Ontario HockeyLeague team the Sarnia Sting are featuring the song You're Goin' Down' (song is available for a free download -click 'free music') by Jeff Walker and Dan Cox in the Sting team video. To listen to You're Goin' Down move the site player to song # 10


Oct/08 - MP3's are now available directly from the site. The album "Spiders and Sihouettes" is now available for download. Users can use their PAYPAL accounts to purchase individual MP3's or complete albums.

July /08- CBC Newfoundland based in St. John's has added "Work of Art " by Brian Allossery and the Lazy Poets(co written with Jeff Walker) to their playlist. The song has recently been featured on the CBC program "Drive Home".Jeff is back in the Studio 92 July 22 concluding the recording of the music for "Biker Church Boulevard".

March/08 - the song "Work of Art"  by Brian Allossery and the Lazy Poets  co written by Brian Allossery and Jeff Walker has recently been featured on the CBC program "the Weekender ".
